My Commodore history - part three: Back to the Amiga

I finally got back into the Commodore Amiga in late May 2019 by purchasing a used Amiga 500. I have yet to set it up permanently but it has run a few times. I am planning how to set it up physically as well as how my setup with regard to software and hardware, etc.

I also have a few projects related to this Amiga 500, some of which I already have the parts for, others I need to prepare parts - I have the ingredients so to speak, and yet others I need to find the parts - and the funds for those parts...

My Commodore history - part one: Commodore 64

My history with having computers started with the Commodore 64.

In the early 1980's when I was a child, me and my friends frequented partly the game arcade and the retail shops in town that had computers. Back then the different shops used to have computers on display that you could try, only from time to time you would get told to move on.

Donations

I am trying to do as much as I can with what I have. I am however not a rich man, and my line of work - Pastor - is not one that will make me or my family among the most wealthy in the world. Being a pastor is actually a vocation - a calling and not a job.

Needless to say some of the projects I have do cost money. Either in parts or in support materials, tools and training. So I would like to ask for your contributions, if you like or benefit from my posts on here or YouTube.

Phoenix BSE Companion

This is the home of the Phoenix BSE Companion (Android) App

Phoenix BSE Companion is an Android Companion App to the game Phoenix BSE - a Play By Mail space soap/odyssey Role Playing Game.

The thought behind this app is for it to be a companion, a help to a Phoenix BSE player - mainly myself, but if anybody else can use it I will be all my pleasure.

The Phoenix BSE Companion Android app is hosted on GitHub but remember that this is a Work in Progress

You can download Phoenix BSE Companion from Google Play.

Productivity 2.1

This project will explore how to build a Productivity setup on a standard Amiga 500, using the built-in floppy drive and if possible a 2nd, external floppy drive.

The Productivity 2.1 project is based upon Kickstart 2.04/2.05 and Workbench 2.1
