Hyperion Entertainment releases Update to AmigaOS 3.1.4

The update named 3.1.4.1 is free to all registered users of AmigaOS 3.1.4 and is mainly a bug fix release. According to the Hyperion Entertainment web site the Change Log is 260 KB. part from the bugfixes, Hyperion states that a few features made it into the update. Among these are Danish (dansk) and Swedish (svenska) AmigaOS Catalogs, Setpatch now has the ability to  load both an audio.device and a Shell-Seg update by itself. Improved compatibility with non-standard programming practices for audio.device. More adequate block sizes for large drives offered by HDToolBox. CrossDOS (AmigaOS recognition and handling of Windows FAT disks) is now more tolerant to wrongly configured mountlists as well as foreign character sets.Improvements to the Fast File Systtem (FFS) requires your FFS partions to be updated after upgrading to AmigaOS 3.1.4.1.

Hyperion Entertainment acquires ReAction GUI Toolkit

Hyperion has announced that they have acquired the ReAction GUI Toolkit. ReAction though once a third party product was made an official part of the AmigaOS from AmigaOS 3.5.

Team17 developer Amiga 4000 found

One of the most iconic games developer companies on the Amiga was Team17. Recently one of their Development Amiga 4000s was donated to Retro Recipees and with help from the donor, Cris Blyth, it was resurrected and we can refind the Worms!
